The words, the design and the illustrations on this site belong to Hockham & Co Ltd. Read them, quote a line, send someone a link — all fine. Copying the content, republishing it or using it in your own commercial work is not.
3. Nothing here is advice
This site describes what I do in general terms. It is not professional advice about your specific situation, and you should not act on it as though it were. If something here looks relevant to your business, talk to me before you act on it — that conversation is free and a great deal more useful than a web page.
As far as the law allows, I am not liable for any loss arising from your use of this site or from relying on anything it says. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation — those cannot be excluded and I am not trying to.
4. No promise of accuracy or uptime
I take reasonable care to keep this site correct and current, but I do not guarantee it. Details may be out of date. The site may be offline for maintenance, or because something broke. I make no commitment that it will be available when you want it.
5. Links to other sites
Where this site links somewhere else, that is for convenience and nothing more. I do not control those sites and I am not responsible for their content or their handling of your data.
6. An enquiry is not a contract
Emailing me does not create a contract, and nothing on this site is an offer capable of acceptance. If we agree to work together, that work is governed by its own written agreement — which will set out scope, fees and terms properly, and which takes precedence over anything here.
7. Changes and governing law
These terms may change. The current version is always the one on this page, and the date below says when it last moved.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
